On the morning of December 30th 2010, Maria Lucas was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. By that afternoon, she was sitting in her surgeon’s office, hearing the four words that no woman ever wants to hear, “You have Breast Cancer”. Ironically, Maria didn’t grow up a stranger to Breast Cancer. She was eight years old when her mother was first diagnosed, so it wasn’t a huge surprise when at age fifty, Maria herself was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We speak to Maria about her journey and courage in converting all that negative energy of hers turning it into something positive with Radiant Wrap. A product she designed and created with the help of her son, Koray hoping to give hope and radiance to women who have to go through the same experience.
