Going Global: Agaté Studio (Jakarta, Indonesia)

“Live the Fun Way” is the company motto of the award winng game developer, Agate Studio. Their story began in 2007 with 18 college students who decided to create a game without any budget or experience. They started with almost no capital which forced everyone to bootstrap, and were earning a salary of only $5 per month for almost 6 months. Fast forward to 2014, they are now operating in three major cities in Indonesia, Bandung, Jakarta and Jogjakarta with more than 80 on staff.
