Yap Yen Tse inherited his business from his family. Coming from a long history of martial arts, his grand father came to Malaya to spread the arts. In 2012, Yen rebranded the Tabib YapChanKor into a mix of both contemporary and alternative treatment. They now have expanded into four centres with potential franchise model to enter the Indonesian market. Yen discusses the issues of human capital within organisation. One of the most prominent question is how do you encourage the physiotherapists to take ownership of the organisation? John Kam from D’Jungle People shares his two cents on this matter.
