The year-long bout of diarrhoea turned out to be colon cancer. At only 27 years old and with no family history of cancer, the diagnosis came as a surprise to budding emcee and columnist, Choo Mei Sze. After removing her entire rectum and 12 cm of her large intestine, Mei Sze is now a year and a half cancer-free and ready to share her story.
