Electrocuted In A Mall.

Last month, a toddler’s hand was caught in an escalator at KL Sentral and severed at the wrist, and another child was electrocuted in a shopping mall after coming into contact with its Hari Raya decorations. These, in addition to the incidents of children falling of escalators or dying of heatstroke after being left in a car raised public concerns about the safety of our children and whether we’re doing enough to punish parental neglect.
