Feminist Fridays #58: Volunteer to Help Women In Crisis

For years now, the Women's Aid Organisation has been helping women in crisis situations who are suffering from mental, physical and sexual abuse. Always open to volunteers joining in their activities, the WAO is set to launch the WAO Hotline Crisis Intervention Programme, which is aimed at training volunteers to provide frontline support to women in crisis. We find out more about this from WAO's Case Manager Charlene Murray, and Amnani Fatin Abdul Kadir, a WAO crisis support officer.
