By The Way: FB Gaming Creators Gets More Music, R.I.P Sarah, Drake With His Hits, Weibo On Star-chasing Behaviour

By The Way is a rapid-fire segment that gives you a snapshot of developing stories in the music world. This week, Facebook Gaming is opening its licensed music library to more creators - this comes after a partnership between Facebook and several major music companies. Sarah Harding, a member of UK’s pop group Girls Aloud has passed away at the age of 39 after a long battle with cancer. Canadian rapper Drake smashes another record with his newly released album ‘Certified Lover Boy'. Lastly, the Chinese social media platform Weibo suspended 22 K-pop accounts due to what they deemed as "irrational star-chasing behaviour".
