The Bar Council will be holding a “Walk for Peace and Freedom” tomorrow, Thursday, October 16th, 10:30am at Padang Merbok. We speak to Christopher Leong and Steven Thiru, president and vice-president respectively of the Malaysian Bar, to understand the objective of that walk, why the Bar Council thought such a response was necessary, and what lies ahead in their campaign to repeal the Sedition Act.
