Just last week, Girls Not Brides, a global partnership of hundreds of civil society organisations (CSO) committed to ending child marriage, held it's second global meeting in Kuala Lumpur. Several civil society organisations, United Nations agencies, advocates and activists also banded together to send a message to the Pakatan Harapan-led Government, to put an end to child marriage in Malaysia, which is still permitted under both the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act and the Islamic Family Law. Dr Amjad Rabi, deputy representative from UNICEF, joins us to discuss the cost of inaction, if we do not end child marriage immediately.
