Teaching Youth About Waste

Malaysia is no stranger to the habit of littering in public places. Recent images of inconsiderate holiday makers at Port Dickson’s beach went viral, prompting many local activists to set up a clean up initiative. Zero Waste Malaysia (ZWM), a non-profit organisation that advocates sustainable living, is hoping to change the situation by educating youth on how to deal with waste properly through an engaging virtual classroom and lesson plan.
