We always speak of the immigrants in Malaysia as 'the other'. In actual fact, the 6 million of them who have made Malaysia their home for years are just like us; they have dreams, stories and fears. In Episode 2 of our Far From Home series, we speak to migrant workers about the difficulty of adapting to the country in terms of learning our language and culture - all in the name of survival.
