Yesterday, temperatures of up to 34°C were recorded in KL and Selangor, following the arrival of the South West Monsoon winds. This has naturally caused some concerns about switching on air-conditioners and running the risk of raking up electricity bills. We explore the ways we can keep cool in weather like this and the role that our built environment plays in adapting to high temperatures.
