The killing of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Kurdish Iranian woman who was apprehended by "morality police" for allegedly violating the country's hijab laws, has sparked mass uproar and protest in over 20 cities in Iran. We speak to Musawah about the significance of this, and their call for the public to stand in solidarity with the voices of people in Iran.
