Voting in the Philippines presidential election concluded yesterday, and an unofficial tally revealed that Ferdinand Marcos Jr., known as BongBong Marcos, won nearly 31 million votes. We look into the significance of this outcome in light of the Marcos family history in politics, and how it could affect diplomatic dynamics in the region.
