Talkback Thursday: Do City Taglines Work?

On Monday, KL Mayor Datuk Seri Mhd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz unveiled DBKL’s plans to boost tourism and travel to the city, and part of the plan included a new logo and tagline that read: Kuala Lumpur. Exciting - Surprising - Enticing. A City of Contrasts and Diversity. Apparently, KL is unique, and 'contrasts and diversity' is apparently the way forward to distinguish our capital city from other cities around the world. But many netizens didn't think so, as expressed on social media since the announcement. On Talkback Thursday today, we're asking: What do you think KL's tagline should be? Do city taglines actually work? Our lines will be open.
