The Prime Minister launched the Capital Market Graduate Programme this week, an initiative to address shortages of skilled talent in the capital market industry. He also announced measures to boost the local capital market, including a reduction of stamp duty for share trading. We discuss the impact of these announcements with Lee Jim Leng, Chairman of the Malaysian Investment Banking Association.
